GivingTuesday Eastern Caribbean
Kids Karaoke, St. Lucia 2018
The Eastern Caribbean islands joined GivingTuesday in 2018 with campaigns in St. Lucia and Antigua & Barbuda targeting children in need.
St. Lucia’s flagship Kids Karaoke campaign was achieved in collaboration with local celebrities and corporate partners, including FLOW, a main telecommunication provider in the region. Local public figures, organizations, families and children all came together to spread cheer and create an atmosphere of fun while donating some much needed supplies to the Pediatric Ward of the Victoria Hospital.
GivingTuesday Eastern Caribbean is owned by the amazing individuals and organisations across the region who are enthusiastic and have a passion for doing good.
To date, GivingTuesday activities have been tracked in nearly every country and territory, and 80 of these countries are home to national GivingTuesday movements of their own. From #UnDiaParaDar to #MardiJeDonne to #ЩедрыйВторник and more, organizations within these countries are translating and customizing GivingTuesday to inspire greater giving and to cultivate a culture of generosity within their nation.
